Patrick;

I stayed up all night ; my thoughts constantly floated from Hope to Jasmine…more Jasmine than Hope.

I wasn’t quite sure on how Jas felt about me, but I wasn’t going to let this moment pass. I looked at my gmail and checked the status.

I sent her the song we were working on earlier.
Truth is, while recording, I was thinking about her the whole time.

Hope laid in the bed next to me, peacefully…so I thought.

I leaned up and seen her sobbing.

My pillows were soaked with her tears. Her smooth caramel toned face now lush red.

“Hope? ,” I went to touch her face,  but she moved forward, away from me.

” …you like her, don’t you? “

I sat up.

Quiet.

” Huh? I don’t understand what you’re talking —”

“Patrick, please don’t do this.”

Hope ;

I sat up, and moved off the bed unto the couch. I tried my best not to make any eye contact with him but even that was impossible. His dark brown eyes pierced into my skin.

My insecurities killed me and knew that was going to be the death of our relationship.

I acted like such a big shot because I need to hide my true feelings.

Inside, I envied any girl that Patrick talked to. Yes, I understand that I’m with him and he’s mines but we have a past.

Patrick has messed around in our relationship before. He doesnt know I found out though.

“Do you like Jasmine?”

The room grew quiet again. I closes my eyes as I reminisced about seeing him kiss another female. A creak was then heard and a few footsteps.

I smelt his scent and took a deep breath of it.

Tears streamed down my face again.  His soft hands held up my face, my eyes still closed.

Truth is Patrick can’t be compared to anyone else and I would basically kill for this boy. If it was any other dude, I wouldn’t have stayed for this long. Which is why I play the role of Crazy Girlfriend.

“Hope, I just met that girl. She’s a friend—”

” you’re not being real…keep it 100… That’s all I’m asking for…”

His hands touched the small of my back.

I shook my head ‘no.’ He ignored me and grabbed my hands, leading me back to the hotel bed.

Knowing what was going through his mind, I laid on my stomach. Patrick removed my tank and slowly placed kisses down my back.

” I love you, Hope” he said in the most serious tone.

I stayed quiet, my face soaked in the pillow of my own tears.

” I love you and only you…”

His iPhone went off and from a glance I can see glowing ” Jasmine”
